This is a lovely role for a Payroll Manager with 8 – 10 years experience based on the Dart line in IFSC.
Honours level I-PASS diploma in payroll management (or equivalent).
Thorough knowledge of either ROI or UK Income Tax & Social Security system & rules.
5-years’ experience in managing an in-house computerised payroll system.
Salaries & Payroll
Payroll Management – to all staff members, including members of Management & Directors.(circa 80 staff)
Payroll records – maintain accurate and updated records relating to salary levels, salary scales .
Implement arrangements including travel tickets, cycle to work, childcare, pension contributions, etc.
Ensure all benefits-in-kind are taxed and accurately reported to UK and ROI Revenue authorities.
Aware of Social-welfare rules and their impact on income continuance arrangements in ROI and UK and ensure accurately reflected in monthly payroll.
Ensure Revenue & other deductions (PAYE, PRSI/NI, USC, LPT) are correctly applied for UK and ROI employees
Review pay-slips prepared by bureau for UK and on internal micro-pay system for ROI to ensure complete and accurate before issuing payment instruction to banks.
Manage the introduction of “PAYE modernisation” in ROI 2019.
Ensure all employee expense claims are properly administered
Manage & monitor business mileage for company cars to ensure BIK obligations are properly applied
Manage health insurance schemes – VHI/BUPA Group scheme
Calculate, manage and monitor Mileage schemes.
Ensure annual Regional Manager Incentive Scheme payments are made.
Deal with all staff queries in relation to salary payments and benefits and deductions.
Pension Schemes & Other Benefits
Ensure employee files on the company’s online HR system are kept complete, accurate and strictly confidential manner in compliance with legal regulations and company requirements.
Manage and administer Pension schemes including preparation of files for uploading to provider’s web-sites.
Finance & Legal
Preparation of staff cost GL journals for all Group companies. Reconcile and agree all staff cost control accounts on GL and outstanding amounts with Revenue records.
Preparation and management of Staff Cost Budgets and Forecasts for The Group.
