With over 50 year’s experience in the haulage industry, our client is one of the country’s leading providers of Ambient, Chilled and Frozen logistics solutions throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe.
They are looking to recruit a Transport Co-Ordinator to join our team in Dublin. The ideal person will want to have a career within the transport industry and have a passion for learning all areas of their operations.
Position Overview:
- Fulfilling customer demands by ensuring secure and efficient transportation of their merchandise in accordance with operational protocols and legal requisites.
- Monitoring trailer movements and maintaining consistent communication with our clientele.
- Verifying supplier documents against assigned shipments.
- Coordinating with subcontractors.
- Providing necessary instructions to drivers.
- Compiling shift transition notes and assessing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Acquiring expertise in all facets of transportation within Ireland, the UK, and beyond.
Requirements:
- The preferred candidate should possess prior experience in transport or warehousing operations, or exhibit a strong inclination to embark on a transport-related career.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, facilitating effective interactions.
- Profound aptitude in IT, given the digitally-driven nature of our entire operation.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and legislation.
- Exemplary punctuality and the ability to adhere to schedules in an organised manner.
- Adeptness in problem-solving.
- Flexibility in embracing varying work hours and shift arrangements to cater to business requirements.
Role:
- Permanent Role.
- Day shift, Sunday – Thursday.
- Shift times (Sunday 8.00am – 6.00pm, Monday – Thursday 6.30am – 4.30pm)
- Salary €35K – €38K depending on experience.
- Life & death in service insurance.
- Certified Training Courses.
