Our client based in Sandyford is seeking a Stock Room Supervisor to join their team. The salary on offer for this role is €37k

Stock Control

• Oversee all stock counts and produce results
• Ensure number and size of locations efficient for current stock profile, maximising use of space while aiding efficient handling.
• Plan appropriate locations and allocation of space to new products before receipt.
• Review & set the min/max replenishment quantities to appropriate frequency.
• Ensure stock movements are minimised, systematically controlled, accurately recorded, and operate to FIFO rules.
• Ensure the timely execution of cycle counts.
• Support the sales team to minimise and eliminate discontinued stock.

Warehouse planning

• Pick face planning to aid efficient picking.
• Review & set the min/max replenishment quantities to appropriate frequency.
• Compile and ensure SOPs, WOW are available & up to date for all stock control processes
• Compilation & reporting of KPI’s.
• Analyse future space, number of locations & storage medium requirements in line with business growth/ objectives.

Staff Management

• Mentoring & Coaching to ensure succession planning.
• Excellent people management skills together with the ability to plan resource and statistically report with accuracy.
• Evaluation of skills needed within the team & creation of development plans to develop individuals as needed.
