Here in Storm, we are delighted to assist our client in the recruitment of a Food Quality Manager to join their team. This position has come about due to company growth. The ideal candidate for this will have a 3rd level qualification in food science or a related discipline and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Main responsibilities:

• Carry out all sampling, external and internal micro and shelf-life testing
• Manage quality control processes, policies, and procedures
• Facilitation of internal, second, and third-party audits(BRCGS, HSE, and customer audits)
• Implement and review HACCP systems
• Implement, develop, and manage a QMS, conform to the requirements of the BRCGS Food Safety Standard
• Approve raw materials and suppliers

Skills required:

• 3rd level qualification in food science(essential)
• Knowledge and working experience in an FMCG environment
• Experience with Food Safety and Quality Management Systems
• HACCP experience
• Computer literate
• Experience with MS Office
• Leadership Skills
• Communication skills

Salary – €50k
