Here in Storm, we are delighted to be recruiting a Purchasing Manager to join our client’s team. The right candidate for this role will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and have excellent negotiating skills. This is a great chance to work with a well-established company, with an attractive salary on offer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of and maintain a database of approved suppliers
  • Work closely with approved suppliers(building and maintaining relationships)
  • Negotiate the best pricing
  • Implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
  • Work and liaise with multiple departments within the company
  • Provide regular reports

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 year’s experience in a purchasing role in an FMCG or food industry
  • Experience of using purchasing computer systems
  • A third-level degree, preferably in Purchasing/Supply Chain/ Logistics
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Leadership skills
