We are delighted to be assisting our client with the recruitment of a Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is a well-established company based in South Dublin specializing in the security systems industry. The ideal candidate for this position will come from a security background.

Main responsibilities:

  • Process quotes and purchase orders
  • Create purchase orders for subcontractors
  • Support the procurement of goods for the operations department
  • Be the point of contact for suppliers
  • Attend planning/forecasting meetings to discuss procurement policies
  • Attend cross-departmental meetings with the sales, operations, and supply chain teams to keep up-to-date with any issues that may arise.
  • Adhoc duties

Skills required:

  • Strong interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • 1-2years experience in a similar role and industry(essential)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player
  • Proven ability to build working relationships with suppliers

This is a Monday-Friday position 8:30-5:30, some flexibility allowed
This role is strictly onsite
Salary €35-€45k DOE
