We are delighted to be assisting our client with the recruitment of a Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is a well-established company based in South Dublin specializing in the security systems industry. The ideal candidate for this position will come from a security background.
Main responsibilities:
- Process quotes and purchase orders
- Create purchase orders for subcontractors
- Support the procurement of goods for the operations department
- Be the point of contact for suppliers
- Attend planning/forecasting meetings to discuss procurement policies
- Attend cross-departmental meetings with the sales, operations, and supply chain teams to keep up-to-date with any issues that may arise.
- Adhoc duties
Skills required:
- Strong interpersonal, and customer service skills
- 1-2years experience in a similar role and industry(essential)
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
- Proven ability to build working relationships with suppliers
This is a Monday-Friday position 8:30-5:30, some flexibility allowed
This role is strictly onsite
Salary €35-€45k DOE
