Our client, a well-established firm situated in Dublin 16, is in search of a full-time, permanent Payroll Specialist to join their team.  This role requires the capacity to manage payroll operations for numerous clients while effectively juggling multiple tasks. This position offers a hybrid working model.


  • Handle payroll processing for multiple clients.
  • Prepare payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.
  • Oversee payroll components of benefit schemes, including tax, revenue, BIK, pension, and health insurance.
  • Ensure accurate processing of employee deductions and additions.
  • Calculate employee holiday entitlements, sick pay, and working hours.
  • Input payroll data into the accounting system
  • Address payroll-related inquiries promptly.
  • Transmit and receive data to/from the ROS service, verifying accuracy.
  • Communicate directly with clients.
  • Issue payslips and process payroll payments.
  • Work on-site at client locations when necessary.

Skills & Experience:

  • IPASS certification or similar payroll qualification preferred.
  • Proven experience in high-volume payroll processing, with the ability to manage multiple clients.
  • Strong understanding of Irish PAYE and Social Welfare systems.
  • Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and payroll softwares
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Capable of accurately reviewing large volumes of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Competitive salary: €35,000 – €45,000 DOE + annual bonus
