Storm Recruitment is currently partnered with a specialised management accounting practice, who are looking to speak with experienced payroll specialists who are eager to progress within their careers or looking for a change as a payroll manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the processing of payroll for approximately 250 clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely process.
- Administer and maintain payroll records, including timesheets, wages, and employee benefits.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and address any payroll-related queries.
- Generate payroll reports, summaries, and analysis for management and clients.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and clients in a professional and timely manner.
- Lead, train, and support a team of payroll specialists to ensure efficient payroll processing and excellent service to clients.
- Stay up to date with payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements, ensuring all payrolls are processed in accordance with relevant laws and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven 10-plus years’ experience in Payroll or in a similar role within a payroll firm, accounting firm, or experience working with multiple clients.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems. e.g., Sage, Thesaurus, or Bright pay
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees and clients.
