Here in Storm, we are delighted to be assisting our client recruit for their growing team. This role is a Design and Costing Coordinator role and has come about due to company growth. The ideal candidate for this role will come from a manufacturing plant or production factory background and be used to a fast-paced office environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide a schedule of designs, and ensure any issues are reported in a timely manner
- Compile production quotations
- Prepare monthly valuations for customers
- Log inquiries
- Manage costings for each project and throughout the project
- Source new product solutions
- Update manufacturing schedules
- Liaise with production teams to ensure targets and schedules are being met
- Liaise with production teams to ensure quality checks are completed and recorded
- General office administration duties
- Organise purchase orders and invoices
Skills Required:
- Goal-orientated with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Assertive and confident
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the same
- Excellent communication skills
- Quick learner
- Proficient in MS Office
- AutoCad experience(desirable)
This is a Monday- Friday role, this may suit a graduate looking to get a start in an ever-growing company.
