Our client based in North Wicklow, is seeking an ERP system administrator to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Purpose of the Role:

The ERP administrator maintain the Visibility ERP system and ensure it is producing efficient results within the company. They monitor system performance, implement software upgrades, and troubleshoot issues that arise. ERP administrators also work on projects designed to identify security and efficiency issues and continuous improvement of the system deliverables and develop solutions to those issues. They are also responsible for training staff in using this software.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Provide required ERP support to all departments, to include but not limited to:

  • Monitor system response times and uptime
  • Maintain a ticketing system to expedite user issues
  • Troubleshoot erroneous transactions and help with rectifying
  • Develop training modules and deliver specified training to new personnel
  • Champion key users in each department who are expert in the modules associated with their department
  • Maintain user access and protocols for setting up new users/deleting leavers
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the disaster recovery, business continuity and resilience plans.
  • Plan, implement and review upgrades of any existing applications, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
  • Maintain the ERP test environment and develop testing protocols prior to introduction of changes to the live environment
  • Develop a clear, timed and costed plan for the future development of the system in conjunction with the Financial Controller

The ERP System Administrator will provide support to all personnel in resolving transactional issues but is not responsible for any primary transactions which are solely the responsibility of the various departments.

Knowledge of ERP system functionality a pre-requisite. Experience of Visibility or SAP would be an advantage.
