Position: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

Location: Naas, Kildare Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 DOE

Benefits:

  • 20 days annual leave, increasing to a maximum of 23 days (one extra day per year of service)
  • Standard benefits package

Working Hours: 08:00 to 16:30

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting a strong EHS culture across all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively work with employees at all levels to promote and ensure a strong EHS culture.
  • Communicate safety procedures and regulations effectively.
  • Compile and produce detailed reports with excellent administrative and literacy skills.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to enforce EHS regulations where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 3rd level degree in Health and Safety.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally from different industries such as construction.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications and MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Firmness and the ability to consult and enforce EHS laws and regulations.

Note: Hybrid working is not available for this role.
