Our client, a leading Insurance Broker based in Sandyford, is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role presents an ideal opportunity for individuals already engaged in an insurance customer service role who aspire to advance their careers within the insurance industry.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging from €30,000 to €32,000, commensurate with experience (DOE). Additionally, the role provides a hybrid work model following the successful completion of the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to drive sales.
- Effectively communicate the distinct customer benefits offered by the client to both existing and potential customers.
- Overcome objections and adeptly close sales transactions.
- Pursue leads provided by the marketing team.
- Ensure customer information is updated in compliance with GDPR guidelines.
- Establish client accounts and ensure accuracy in customer documentation.
- Process policy renewals and mid-term adjustments efficiently.
- Handle incoming sales and customer service calls.
- Accurately capture crucial customer details including contact information, home address, date of birth, and email address.
- Identify changes in customer details and update the system accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Leaving Certificate
- Working towards or currently holding an Accredited Product Adviser (APA) qualification
Skills:
- Proficiency in using Applied Systems software
- Solid understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations
- Previous sales training is advantageous
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience within an insurance brokerage setting.
