Our client based in North Wicklow is seeking an experienced CNC programmer / Machining Operative. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company based in North Wicklow and develop your skills in a supportive, structured environment.

Salary: €33k – €34k
Location: North Wicklow
Hours: 8:00am- 4:15pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and running CNC Lathe and Milling machines.
• Writing and running programmes from 2D technical drawings.
• Performing quality control checks using ring gauges, plug gauges, micrometers and Vernier callipers.
• Operating manual tool grinders.
• Meeting production targets and maintaining ISO documentation standards.
• Deburring and inspection of finished products.
• Supporting the Machining Supervisor and working flexibly across production machines.

Requirements:

• Some experience in CNC machining — whether through work, training or apprenticeship.
• Basic knowledge of G-code is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Fluent English.
• A can-do attitude, good team player, ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime occasionally (mainly weekends).
