We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for our client based in the west of Ireland. This role is field based/remote with occasional attendance in Head Office, as well as representing the company at networking events, and exhibitions.

The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience within the luxury skincare or luxury spa industry, and that demonstrates success in consistently achieving strong sales results as well as building long standing customer relationships. The client is looking for a creative thinker, who can work on their own initiative and enjoys working independently. The perfect candidate would additionally have strong persuasion and negotiation skills, as well excellent communication skills and are a highly organised individual.

The purpose of this role is to support the Sales Manager in increasing brand awareness in Ireland, generate sales and manage the growth of new business and current customers.

Reports to: Sales Manager.

Location: Field based and remote.

Job Type: Full time, Permanent.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week, but flexibility is required based on business needs.

Salary: DOE

 Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Increase brand awareness in Ireland.
  • Identifying and capitalising new business opportunities.
  • Generate sales in line with projections and meeting key performance indicators.
  • Managing the growth of new business and current customers.
  • Nurturing strong client relationships
  • Maximise revenue and market share while strategically planning the future sales team structure.
  • Attending Networking events, planning networking events as well exhibitions.
  • Managing and monitoring sales reports and setting targets.
  • Strategic budget planning and management.
  • Delivering high-quality presentations effectively.
  • Product demonstrations for clients as well as effectively communicating USPs of each product.
  • Supporting customers

Qualifications/ Experience/ Skills:

  • Experience within a luxury skincare brand or luxury spa is essential, as well as a good understanding of the industry.
  • B2B sales experience within the wellness industry and high-end retail is also essential.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Proven strong sales ability.
  • Ideally a level of beauty training, but full extensive product training will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Enthusiastic about skincare and wellness
  • Building strong client relations and growing each established B2B partner.
  • A third-level qualification in Business and/or Marketing is desired.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Full, Clean, Manual Driving Licence.
