We have an exciting new opportunity for a Permanent Part-Time Legal Bookkeeper to join our client’s legal firm based in South Dublin on a permanent basis. A candidate with prior experience working within a legal firm would be ideal for this position!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Involved in the day-to-day accounting activities of the firm in support of the Finance Manager and the accounts team
  • Posting certain internal expenses to the system and reconciling them
  • Participating in a group that ensures compliance with regulations
  • Process and allocate fee notes to the accounting system and certain client systems
  • Invoice processing for Accounts Payable in support of the team
  • Help with banking, reconciliation of clients’ accounts, and petty cash management
  • Posting certain internal expenses to the system and reconciling them
  • Participating in a group that ensures compliance with regulations

Candidate Specification:

  • Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Experience with legal bookkeeping is essential
  • Having a working knowledge of the Leap and Zero Software packages
