Audio Visual Service Engineer

Are you passionate about AV technology and ready to take on a new challenge? Our client, based in Dublin 12 is seeking a talented AV Installation Engineer to join their innovative team. As a key member of their support staff, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless AV experiences for our projects team.

Location: Office based in Dublin 12, but this role will require travel
Salary: 30k – 35k DOE

Position Overview: We seek an experienced AV Support Support Engineer to bolster our team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our clients’ Audio-Visual systems, both onsite and remotely. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving hardware and software issues promptly, maintaining strong client relationships, and fine-tuning systems for optimal performance.

The position is Full-Time, on a standard Monday-Friday week with some overtime required to complete projects. This role involves travel outside of Dublin, with occasional overnight stays required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite and remote maintenance and repair of Audio-Visual systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot integrated systems, including DSP systems.•
  • Collaborate with manufacturers’ technical engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Fine-tune audio-video systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage parts for van stock and update warehouse stock levels.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships and effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
  • Additional duties as require
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures while working at client sites.


  • Full, clean driver’s license required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AV service.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex system problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and with clients.
  • Experience with remote access programs and understanding of networks, including VPN configuration
  • Knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities and work independently to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications such as Crestron, QSYS, Biamp, and Poly are preferred.
  • Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent preferred
  • Formal education in Electronics or related fields is preferred.
