What happens if I am selected for an interview with a client?

Your interview details will be confirmed with you via email or phone-call. You are expected to research the company in detail and Storm Recruitment will provide an Interview Preparation Guide to assist you. Once we have received feedback after the interview, we will be in touch.

How will I be interviewed?

We use a video interview software for most of our first-round interviews, and during pandemic times, continue to conduct our interviews in this manner. This is a solo interview in which you will be presented with questions that the client has determined. For second-round, candidates can meet clients online for a two-way interview.

As restrictions lift, it will be at the discretion of the client whether they wish to continue online interviews or meet in person.

If your interview is online, we advise you to read the following guidelines:

  • It is important to dress appropriately for the interview, even if it is online.
  • Ensure that the background is clear of clutter or distractions.
  • Check that your internet connection is stable prior to the interview.

If your interview is in person, we advise the following:

  • Allow enough travel time, and be aware that there may be traffic or delays en route
  • Dress appropriately for the interview
  • Bring a printed copy of your CV and any written references / relevant documentation.
